The position can be located in Frankfurt, Cologne or Munich.

The Account Manager (m/f) will play a key role in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships within existing accounts – either in the Manufacturing & Logistics or in the Communication & Technology industry – as well as selling new service offerings and innovative, consultancy-led solutions. You will identify, propose and execute IT projects where our client can add outstanding value and position yourself as trusted advisor and strategic partner for business and IT solutions. With your business sector expertise, you will be responsible for long-term, sustainable growth within your designated industry. By understanding the customer’s goals, needs and priorities you will anticipate requirements proactively, build solutions around the same and create a pipeline for future projects. Further, you will take ownership for creating proposals and lead them from RFPs to closure, including the responsibility for pricing new initiatives or deals. In doing so, you will oversee the whole project delivery process, ensuring that service delivery follows very high levels of client satisfaction. You will jointly review project plans, schedules and deliverables together with the Offshore Delivery Manager / Project Leader. Lastly, you will also be responsible for mentoring the team members working on-site, to ensure a professional, high quality, high value and responsive service delivery to the client.

You possess broad-based experience in the distribution of complex IT Services solutions. You are well acquainted with the business and IT challenges facing companies in the Manufacturing & Logistics or Communication & Technology sector, respectively, and are well-informed about the important developments in the category, ensuring that you can deliver a leading edge performance. Your approach is solution-driven rather than product-oriented, but at the same time, you have an excellent understanding of the services offered by our client. This enables you to establish and sustain meaningful and long-term customer relationships based on mutual trust. Equally important as your professional experience are the personal skills that you will bring to the fast-growing organization. You are passionate about what you do, have a strong sense of team spirit and are open and accessible; you focus on active and supportive communication in achieving team targets. You value a dynamic and flexible approach and are motivated by functional challenges rather than hierarchies. You are customer- and results-oriented and have a high level of motivation and commitment. Finally, you have convincing communication skills in English and German and an engaging, lively personality.
